Great and beautiful tea set for your tea party

come with tea set and tea tray

Material: Celadon / Ceramic - lead-free

1.   The teapot, fairness cup (chahai), 6 tasting cups, and tea strainer are all made of high-fired celadon, similar to Longquan celadon. It's a white porcelain body covered with a celadon glaze, fired at over 1280°C.

2.   The little koi fish inside are raised relief under the glaze. The fish shape is made first, then covered with a clear celadon glaze and fired. It's not overglaze paint, so there's no risk of lead leaching.

3.   The brown rim on the cups is an iron-based slip / sauce-mouth glaze. It's a traditional technique, not lead.

This kind of celadon tea set is all labeled lead-free, food-grade on the market and meets food-contact safety standards. You can brew directly with boiling water, no lead concerns.

Just hand-wash with mild soap. Avoid the microwave and harsh dishwasher cycles. The koi are 3D, so avoid hard knocks.
