Gaiwan - Small 4oz

The gaiwan is a traditional covered cup used in China for brewing an individual cup of tea.  We demonstrate how to use a gaiwan in our Chinese tea tastings and people realize how handy a gaiwan can be, particularly for green and white tea.  We offer a traditional Yixing clay gaiwan perfect for steeping a single cup of tea.  The traditional white porcelain is used by judges in tea competitions because it really allows the true color of the tea liquor to show.
