Pu-erh Iced Tea - Very Tasty!

Yesterday is was hot, hot, hot, hot, hot, hot, hot around middle Tennessee.  Iced Tea Season (also known as summer) is definitely upon us!  I worked outside during the morning taking the hedge trimmers to some junipers and boxwoods. Very hot work doing that in the direct sun.  Linda made a big pitcher of iced tea using our Kumming Gongfu Pu-erh.  It tasted great!  I think that is the first time we've made iced tea with pu-erh but it definitely will not be the last.   I drank the pu-erh iced tea straight (i.e. no sweetener).  I usually prefer a...

Video Showing How to Use a Gaiwan

Public Tea Tasting in Murfreesboro Thursday, 6 January

Jenny will be offering tea tastings and demonstrations in Murfreesboro this coming Thursday, January 6, from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.  The tasting will be at Moxie Art Supply and Studio School, 316 N. Maple Street.  That's right in downtown Murfreesboro, about 2 blocks north of the square.   Stop by to learn a bit about fine tea from a real expert.  Jenny will have a supply of teas to sell as well as some teaware and gifts - plus you can browse the art and craft supplies at Moxie!
